Cultural competence and inclusive leadership begin with individual transformation. We know from our research and our more than 15 years of working with leaders that this transformation happens over time with intentional focus and hard work. Because people matter, and it is essential for all voices to be at the table, this journey is worth the investment of time, resources, and intentional focus.
The Becoming Inclusive Membership provides guidance and tools for your journey, whether you are part of a team ready to work together toward cultural competence or want to begin the process independently. Still others may want to explore the program before sharing it with their organization or community.
How it Works
We provide a single focus for each month so you can lean into the hard work of transformation without feeling overwhelmed. Each month, you’ll receive a workbook introducing the focus for the month, readings, activities, and thought questions. You can choose to have the workbooks mailed to you each month or receive a digital copy in your email.
Four times a year, you’ll be invited to join an online discussion with others on the Becoming Inclusive journey. You’ll be invited to share victories and frustrations, ask questions, and gain insights and ideas.
